Concerns may also be reported directly to UNICEF through its official reporting channels, including the UNICEF Office of Internal Audit and Investigations at integrity1@unicef.org. Information on reporting concerns is available at: www.unicef.org/report-wrongdoing. **3. Consent and Recordings** - By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge that photography, audio recording, video recording, and other forms of media capture ("Recordings") may take place during the Event for documentation, communication, advocacy, reporting, and promotional purposes related to UNICEF and World Children's Day. - For participants under 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for indicating, during registration or through another mechanism designated by the Organizer, whether the child may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise featured in Event materials. UNICEF and the Organizer will take reasonable measures to respect these preferences. - Recordings may be used by UNICEF Cambodia and its authorized partners in publications, reports, websites, social media channels, promotional materials, and other communication products related to UNICEF's work and future World Children's Day activities. - Parents or guardians who do not wish their child to be identifiable in photographs, videos, or promotional materials should notify the Organizer in writing at pcsmanagers@phareps.org no later than 5 days before the Event, or inform the registration team upon arrival. Reasonable efforts will be made to exclude the child from close-up or identifiable imagery; however, this cannot be guaranteed for general crowd scenes or wide-angle footage where individuals are not the primary subject. - UNICEF and the Organizer will not publish a child's full name, school, home address, contact details, or other personally identifiable information alongside a child's image without separate and specific consent from the parent or legal guardian. - All photography, videography, and use of images involving children will be managed in accordance with UNICEF's child safeguarding principles and applicable privacy and data protection requirements. **4. Liability** - UNICEF Cambodia accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, liability, injury, or disappointment incurred by any participant as a result of entering or taking part in the Event, except to the extent this cannot be excluded under Cambodian law. - Basic first aid support will be available on-site during the Event. Participants (or their parent/guardian) remain responsible for their own health and for any medical costs beyond on-site first aid, and are encouraged to hold their own health or travel insurance. - Each participant – or, for a minor, their parent or guardian – agrees to indemnify and hold harmless UNICEF Cambodia against any loss, expense, liability, or claim arising from that participant's own negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent permitted by Cambodian law. **5. Data Protection** - By registering for or participating in the Event, participants (or their parent/guardian) consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with BookMe+'s Privacy Notice. - Personal data relating to a child is limited to what is necessary for registration, safety, and emergency purposes, held securely, and not shared beyond the Organizer and its event partners except as required by law or with separate consent. **6. Miscellaneous** - There is no obligation on the Organizer to enter into correspondence regarding the Event or these Terms. The Organizer may cancel or terminate the Event, or amend these Terms, at any time. - These Terms and the Event are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. - By registering, all participants – or, where the participant is under 18, their parent or legal guardian on their behalf – agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. **7. T-Shirt Sizes** - Participants will be asked to select their preferred t-shirt size during registration. - T-shirt sizes are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. While organizers will make every effort to provide the requested size, availability cannot be guaranteed once a particular size has run out. - If the selected size is no longer available, the organizer reserves the right to provide the closest available alternative size. - No exchanges or changes of t-shirt sizes can be guaranteed after registration has been completed or run kits have been collected. **8. Foreign Visitors and Temple Access** - The World Children’s Day Fun Run registration fee does not include admission tickets to Bakong Temple. - The Fun Run route is planned primarily around the temple area, and participants are not expected to enter restricted temple zones as part of the event. - Foreign participants who wish to enter Bakong Temple or any heritage areas requiring admission during or after the event must obtain a valid entry ticket separately and at their own expense, in accordance with the regulations of the Apsara National Authority and the relevant authorities. - It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they comply with all admission requirements and regulations applicable to the temple site. - UNICEF and the Event Organizer are not responsible for the purchase, reimbursement, or arrangement of temple admission tickets for participants.

Event Description

Join us on Sunday, 8 November 2026, in Siem Reap Province for a World Children's Day Celebration featuring a Fun Run and UNICEF Village, a day dedicated to child rights, inclusion, education, health and climate action.

💙 BE PART OF A MOVEMENT FOR CHILDREN.

This year, as UNICEF marks its 80th anniversary, World Children’s Day is an opportunity to renew our commitment to children. Eighty years ago, the world chose children. Today, we must choose them again. We must choose a future for every child.

We invite you to join one of Cambodia’s largest celebrations for children, as part of a day where children and communities around the world come together to raise their voice for child rights.

Choose your distance and take in the beautiful Cambodian countryside, with 3KM and 10KM routes winding past the ancient Bakong Temple. Every child and adolescent under 18 runs for free, because every child should have the chance to be part of this day.

Want your child to have the full race-day experience? Optional run kits for children are available to purchase, including the official UNICEF Fun Run t-shirt, race bib and finisher medal.

Lace up, show up and run for every child’s right to learn, grow, be protected and reach their full potential.
